For those who are not used to all this web jargon FAQ is Frequently Asked Questions. This page contains answers to common questions and a little history about
the WWDDL.
- When did the league start?
- How can a team join the league?
- Are there any original members still playing?
- Who has won the league?
- What are the league rules?

The WW&DDL was formed in 1946 and consisted of one division of 16 teams. The format
then was three straight eights of a 1001 (start & finish on a double). As it is now
all teams in the league must be within a five mile radius of the Swan, West Wickham.

Teams interested in joining the league should email wwddl@cableinet.co.uk.

As far as Vic Smith (the results secretary) can remember there are none of the founder
members of the league still playing - the RBL Hayes are probably the longest serving team.
Original members of the league included, the Swan, the New Inn (Hayes) & the Rising
Sun. If anyone has any historical (or even hysterical) information about the league then
please get in touch.

Back to the 1983/1984 season the Premier Division (formally the First Division) has
been won by the New Studio (formally Royston 'A' and before that the Crooked Billett) 14
times. In 1985/1986 the King William won, in 1990/1991 the Crown were first & in
1992/1993 the Goldsmiths Arms topped the league. The New Studio won the top division for
the next 7 years...until the 2000/2001 season when there was a new winner, the Langley
Park!
