PRESENTATION NIGHT

The Presentation Evening (and ‘Blind’ Pairs Knockout – for Cash Prizes) is being held on Friday 7 September, at the New Studio Club, Old Bromley Road, Downham, starting at 7.45pm. 

If you wish to enter the ‘Blind’ Pairs please notify us by sending your name to wwddl@hotmail.com by no later than Friday 31 August, or of course using the entry forms supplied at the Competition Nights.

Please note that entries are strictly on a first come first served basis up to a maximum of 32 pairs.

If your team are unable to attend on the night to collect their trophies, please let us know ASAP.

8's League

As agreed at the recent AGM, the 8's KO competition will be replaced by incorporating an 8's 'league' using the straight 8 of the normal league match. Teams will be asked to record the winner of the straight 8 in each match on the result card and the team winning the most 8's in each division at the end of the season will receive a shield or trophy. The league tables on the website will also reflect this change. Please note this does not in anyway alter the format of matches which are still played for 15 points.

Secretaries are therefore asked to record this by way of a star * above the name of the team winning the straight 8. Please ensure that it is clearly marked to assist the Results Secretary in compiling the points.

Details of the competitions will, as usual, be circulated in February.
